Plan a week of meals from the cooking videos you already saved
You have hundreds of saved cooking videos and still ask “what’s for dinner?”. A simple way to turn them into a weekly plan and one shopping list.
Most of us save far more cooking videos than we cook. The saved folder becomes a wish list. The fix isn’t more inspiration; it’s turning a handful of those videos into a plan.
Pick fewer recipes than you think
Five or six recipes cover a week once you count leftovers and a night off. Choose a mix: one or two quick ones for busy nights, one that makes leftovers, and one you’re excited about.
Turn them into recipes first
A plan needs ingredient lists, not videos. Paste each link into Recipe from Video to get the ingredients and amounts. If a creator posted the recipe in the caption or description, that works too.
Let the planner do the grid
- Open Nourish and choose Plan my week.
- Pick which meals you want planned: breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks.
- The planner fills the days from your saved recipes, leaning towards the ones you cook and save most, and you can swap or lock any meal.
- Open the shopping list. It merges ingredients across recipes and sorts them by aisle.
TipTick items off as you shop; the list remembers what you already have.
Keep it going
After a few weeks you’ll have a shortlist of recipes you actually make. Those are the ones worth printing in a cookbook.
